Innovative Health Monitoring Device Designs

Today, we bring you a case study of health monitoring device designs. Intelligent health monitoring devices, with their innovative design and technological features, provide meticulous monitoring capabilities and timely, accurate feedback of data, becoming our health guardians. In the following sharing, we will delve into the essence of these designs to see how intelligent monitoring devices safeguard our health.
NO.1. Portrait Mobile – Mobile Patient Monitoring System. Original Designer: Portrait Mobile. Portrait Mobile is a patient monitoring solution for wards, offering continuous monitoring and providing a real-time view of patient status through remote monitoring devices, without restricting patient mobility, optimizing patient care. Portrait Mobile utilizes advanced medical technology to enhance patient comfort and the professional ease of use of the equipment. Developed by Healthcare, the mobile patient monitoring system offers greater freedom of movement to patients, thereby reducing patient stress without affecting clinical care. The designer has created a considerate and reliable user experience with a gentle design language.

NO.2. O2Ring – Oxygen Monitoring Device. Original Designer: Shenzhen Viaton Technology Co., Ltd. As an innovative mini-wearable oxygen monitoring device, O2Ring is suitable for nocturnal sleep monitoring of patients with sleep apnea and chronic obstructive pulmonary syndrome. Its streamlined and elegant shape features an integrated silicone mold and a touch-sensitive button, contrasting with the coldness of traditional medical devices. It is exquisite, compact, fashionable, and technological; simple but not simplistic.

NO.3. Nubo V – Infusion Monitoring System. Original Designer: Yimili Product Design. The Nubo V series is an infusion monitoring system that combines a weighing sensor and a photoelectric sensor, capable of fully monitoring the infusion status of patients instead of manual supervision, providing timely and accurate data, and alleviating the excessive work pressure on nursing staff in the era of the pandemic. Real-time data is wirelessly transmitted to the central control screen and mobile terminals, helping nursing staff to grasp the treatment progress of multiple patients and respond to abnormal situations in a timely manner. Compared to similar products, it has a battery life of more than six months.

NO.4. Women’s Hormone Monitoring Device. Original Designer: Lollipop Technology. This product aims to help pregnant groups improve the success rate of pregnancy by jointly monitoring multiple hormones. The product can accurately detect four hormones: LH/PDG/HCG/FSH, using fluorescence technology, to comprehensively judge and present whether the level of female hormones is suitable for pregnancy, avoiding interference from other factors.
Combined with our APP, it automatically records the data of each measurement and provides professional analysis and advice. The design is simple and friendly, focusing on human-computer interaction, bringing users a sense of intimacy and comfort.

The No.5. Ultrahuman smart ring was designed by Pranab Kumar, Apoorv Shankar & Yogansh Namdeo. This fashionable smart ring combines hardware and software, providing the right direction for the wearer’s healthy life. Nowadays, almost all smart watches and fitness trackers can display data such as the wearer’s heart rate, number of steps, sleep duration, and blood oxygen level. Some of them can indicate that there is something wrong with your body, but taken alone, they cannot really give you a deeper and more comprehensive understanding of your health.

In contrast, the Ultrahuman Ring can not only measure some of the same metabolic biomarkers such as heart rate variability, temperature and sleep. It also interprets them as something easier to understand and, more importantly, easier to take action on.

The No.6. Little I newborn monitoring device was designed by Chris Barnes; Cambridge Consultants. Little I, this innovative technology enables parents in resource-poor countries to monitor their newborn babies, providing them with inexpensive and easy-to-use devices and ultimately allowing them to regain confidence that their newborns can survive even without medical knowledge. This service is provided by non-governmental organizations that purchase the equipment and transport it to the community and teach how to use it.
